Morning Desert Safari Tours

Morning desert safari typically starts with hotel pickup at 6:00-6:30 AM and returns by 11:00 AM. The exact timing may vary by 30 minutes depending on your hotel location and the season. Early start ensures you catch the beautiful sunrise over the dunes.

Morning safari includes hotel pickup/drop-off, dune bashing, sandboarding, camel riding, falconry display, traditional costume photography, refreshments (tea, coffee, water, dates), and spectacular sunrise viewing. Some packages also include quad biking at additional cost.

Morning desert safari prices start from AED 89 per person for standard packages. Premium packages with additional activities like quad biking range from AED 120-180 per person. Private morning safaris start from AED 600 for small groups.

Morning safari is ideal for photography enthusiasts, families with young children, and those wanting to avoid crowds. You'll enjoy cooler temperatures, stunning sunrise views, and better wildlife spotting opportunities. Evening safaris offer cultural shows and dinner which morning tours don't include.

Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, camera with extra batteries, light jacket (desert mornings can be cool), comfortable closed-toe shoes, and a small backpack. Avoid heavy meals before dune bashing. Most operators provide water and light refreshments.

Yes, morning safari is excellent for families with children. Cooler morning temperatures are more comfortable for kids. However, children under 3 years may find dune bashing intense. Most activities like camel riding and sandboarding are perfect for children above 5 years.

Most morning safaris include light refreshments like Arabic coffee, tea, dates, and water. Full breakfast is not typically included, but some premium packages offer breakfast options. We recommend eating a light meal before the tour starts.

Morning hours offer the best chance to spot desert wildlife including Arabian oryx, gazelles, desert foxes, various bird species, and reptiles. The cooler temperatures make animals more active. Some camps also feature falconry demonstrations with trained falcons and hawks.

Morning dune bashing follows the same thrilling routes as evening tours. However, sand conditions might be firmer in the morning, potentially making the ride smoother. Professional drivers adjust the intensity based on group preferences and safety requirements.

October to April offers the most pleasant morning safari experience with cooler temperatures. Summer months (May-September) have very hot mornings by 9 AM, but sunrise views are spectacular year-round. Winter mornings can be quite cool, requiring light jackets.
